Friday Qualifying #1:

Left Lane: Bruce Litton - 4.620 / 322.27
Right Lane: Spencer Massey - No Time

Last pair. Kevin Jones is on the bump spot at 9.482. Massey has dazzled the troops with terrific performance for a "Rookie". What a shame! The win win light goes on his lane way before the 1000 foot light. It would have been a nice four seventy run from the incrementals. Litton makes a great looking pass and captures the number two spot for tonight.

Saturday Qualifying #2:

Left Lane: Mike Strasburg - 10.867 / 79.75
Right Lane: Bruce Litton - 4.733 / 273.72

Todd Paton is on the bump spot at 5.389. Both cars made good runs last night with Strasburg capturing the track MPH record. Looks like a repeat of Jones' pass in the left lane with a strong leave and tire smoke well before the 330 lights. Litton was on a good looking pass until about the 1000 foot lights where there was smoke from the engine. No "stuff" on the track though!

Saturday Qualifying #3:

Left Lane: Spencer Massey - 4.798 / 251.25
Right Lane: Bruce Litton - 5.456 / 170.08

Massey rebounded nicely in round two after a timing problem on Friday. Massey is off the mark first by almost two tenths and is thundering until the flames go out before mid-track. Litton had better numbers until near the 660 lights and he lifted too.

(L) T.J. Zizzo (Peak Antifreeze Dragster) 0.106 / 5.079 / 210.08

Zizzo teams worked long and hard to get the car ready for round one. Blower pieces had destroyed the slick yesterday and the car banged the wall. He is away first and leads past the sixty foot lights, when Litton went thundering on by. Zizzo's car smoked the tires right after that.

Litton makes a near full pass for the fans another four sixty after slowing in the lights.
