Weather conditions: air temperature 75 degrees, relative humidity 44 percent, barometer 29.48 inches, adjusted altitude 2,171 feet, track temperature 95 degrees. Litton with a real nice looking pass, straight down the groove to get into the top half of the show. Gallegos did the burnout but couldn't get the car into reverse and the Safety crew pushes him back to the starting line where he shuts the car off. Lagana with a slight advantage on the starting line, but Litton had the difference made up by 60 feet. Lagana with a big puff of smoke as he crossed the finish line. Litton with a nice pass, but will give up lane choice to Massey in the final.
